    Signing Day...

Thursday, February 7, 2008, 10:40 AM CST [General]

Well, another year, and another nice recruiting class for the Sooners.  Although we couldn't lure Julio out of Alabama, you have to love getting the top three recruits out of the state of Texas.  Sorry Mack.

Here are some of the highlights:

Jermie Calhoun - RB - Great running back out of Texas, generally ranked as a Top 10 player in the country

RJ Washington - DL - The most dominating pash rusher in high school football

Dejuan Miller  - WR - Top 15 wide reciever out of New Jersey - should make a nice addition to the stacked group of wideouts we already have

Jameel Owens - WR - Number one player in Oklahoma and a top 10 reciever in the nation - again, another weapon for Bradford

    ...among many others.

Anyway, looks like its shaping up to be another great year of football - only 2 months until the Red/White game and 7 months until Chattanooga!

    New House!

Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 12:20 PM CST [General]

Well, after the longest 7 weeks of my life, I finally closed on my first new house.  I think the main thing I learned during the process is... NEVER THROW ANYTHING OUT!!  Its amazing how many things lenders find important that I've never even thought of.  That being said, I'm glad the process is finished and now the fun part of moving in and some remodelling begins.  What fun.
