Yep, it an't easy being green.
I try to ride to work a couple times a week to save a bit of money and cut down on my own personal carbon output. Financing that 70 mile commute cuts into my sushi fund and makes polar bears swim for their lives, don't you know?
Anyway, it was cold this morning but dry, then this blew in,

Oh well, I finally retired my 14 year old Aerostich Roadcrafter suit last week and now I get to try out the new one but first I need to reupholster the seat on my 1977 bmw r75 so the foam won't get soaked. This seat is full of holes and still has some of the old tape I put on before leaving for the Yukon back in 02. Since I don't want a mushroom garden growing under my butt when the sun comes out, I'll seal her up real nice with a fresh application.
First apply the new material,

Reattach the seat and we're ready to roll. Looking good! I finally have something shiny on the bike! Red Green would be proud.

It's really not that big a deal, I've ridden in this stuff for weeks at a time and at least it's not dark.
