I got up at 9 on Sunday, sleepy eyed and groggy, glanced outside, and, to my surprise, it was snowing! Unbelievable! This must be the 6th time it has snowed this year! I don't remember it ever snowing more that 2 times in a winter, and that was long ago in my distant past when I was but a wee lad. Of course, I went back to bed, and, by noon, when I finally got up, it had completely vanished, hardly a trace of evidence left... what a tease...

I awoke to a lovely blanket of snow covering the ground this morning! I don't remember it ever snowing here as much as it has this year. We've had 4? different episodes of significant snowfall this year, and, the accumulation during one of those has not been matched since 1871! Global warming??
